8 Must-Visit Spots for a Bachelorette Trip in Lake Chelan, Washington

This past week, I spent a 4-day getaway in Lake Chelan, Washington for my friend’s Bachelorette trip. While we did get hit with some rain and some other less than ideal circumstances, we still made the best of our trip and found some gems along the way! I want to share where we went to give you some must-visit spots for a Bachelorette trip in Lake Chelan (or perhaps just a girls trip!).

Bachelorette Trip in Lake Chelan, Washington

Benson Winery

Our first wine tasting spot, Benson was absolutely breathtaking and offered the most delicious pizza from their downstairs restaurant! This was definitely the favorite spot for the group out of all the wineries we tried. Sit out on their gorgeous patio if you are able to!

Hard Roe to Hoe

After Benson, we headed over to this winery hot spot. We had all heard great things but if we’re being honest, it didn’t completely knock our socks off. They did offer a great non-alcoholic cider for non-drinkers like myself, and featured some yummy sweet treats, but the overall winery area was quite small and the view couldn’t compete with others like Benson. I will say, their name origin has an awesome story and all of their wines are named naughtily! It adds some extra flair. Their staff was also very kind and accommodating to our last minute group.

Andante Italian Style

We were able to swing last minute reservations at Andante, a delish Italian style restaurant in downtown Chelan. I had their salmon and we all shared the artichoke dip (yum!), and a nice fellow customer bought our bridal crew some shots. Andante is a quaint spot with a lovely atmosphere.

Bridal Shower-Themed Games

Back at the Airbnb that night, we played a series of bridal shower games that I had organized: The Newlywed Game with video of the groom, wedding trivia, and a ring hunt along with corresponding gift + cash prizes for the best players. You can easily make engaging games like this for low cost! We also did some gift giving with the bride. Throughout the trip, we played some great card games like Do You Know Me?, That’s What She Said, Uno, and Spoons! Get an Airbnb that’s stocked with fun games and you’ll never have a dull moment.

Little Bear Trail at Lake Chelan State Park

Not gonna lie: Little Bear Trail got me GOOD! I’m not a hiking girly and this 2.5 mile hike was a pretty steep incline at the beginning, but eventually tapered off with a decline, and ended with a bit more up & down. The views were absolutely amazing (as you can see above) and were worth the risk of being eaten by a black bear! Kidding (kinda). This trail is great for families and is an easy outdoor adventure that you don’t need to travel far for!

Callan Cellars

We drove by Callan Cellars after our hike and decided to pull over and see what it had to offer. The lovely ladies working allowed our bridal group to enjoy their private seating overlook up by the vineyards, an exclusive spot, and it did not disappoint! This was definitely our second fave behind Benson.

Shopping in Downtown

During our final evening in Chelan, we headed into downtown to do some shopping! We all loved LUSH and Lake Life, two of the great shops providing great gift giving and home decor options, but you really can’t go wrong with any of the little shops.

Steelhead Cider

The gals were in the mood for some hard cider, so we went and enjoyed the upstairs deck/patio at Steelhead Cider. They offer great cider flights!

The Ice Cream Parlor at The Landing

Ice cream before dinner on vacations always, am I right!? :) We stopped by the adorable ice cream spot in town. Everyone else enjoyed a cone with some scoops and I opted for an almond, chocolatey shake. Our bellies were very happy!

A Visit to Leavenworth

Before heading home, the girls decided to pop over to Leavenworth which was in the direction of home for all of us. The guys had been spending their Bachelor Party trip here and it was so lovely to see each other after a bit of time away! We ate at Rhein Haus (hugest pretzels I’ve ever seen!), popped into the Out West Trading Co. gift shop, and grabbed coffee at Little Red’s Espresso & Bakery before hitting the road.

Even though we weren’t able to do our water activities with all the rain, we certainly made the best of our trip and I can’t wait to make more memories in Lake Chelan someday in the future. :)
