About Kathryn.

I reside in Olympia, Washington (just a stone’s throw from big ol’ Seattle) with my husband Jared who I’ve been with for 11 years - a decade and counting, baby!! We got married in October 2023 and documented the whole thing here and on TikTok/Instagram.

I grew up entrenched in the Internet: coding my pretty pink MySpace profile, sharing daily musings on my Blogspot site, sitting on the waitlist for Twitter (sorry, “X”) before it ever launched, using those God-awful old Instagram filters (team Clarendon and Valencia!), and dreaming of becoming a YouTube vlogger. This led me into the world of content marketing and I opened my marketing agency when I was 21. I later ended up co-founding a local networking / support group of 150+ fellow women entrepreneurs by 22 and fell in love with entrepreneurship.

I am endlessly proud of my female, Chicana, and LGBTQ+ identities and hold tightly to these roots of ultimate resilience while at the same time am aware of the fact that I also hold white-and-straight-passing privilege and strive to use this privilege to make a difference in the minds of the less enlightened. Social movements are at the core of my existence, and drag performers + figure skaters are my greatest sources of inspiration.

I’m an ENFJ and enneagram 2w3 - a sentimental lover of love with strong workaholic tendencies! I believe our multiple selves are always imperfect and should always be evolving for the better.
