48 Hours in Seattle, Washington - Anniversary Trip (Spring 2023)

This April, my sweetie and I spent our anniversary in Seattle. It was the beginning of the baseball season and we decided to become Season Ticket Members for the Seattle Mariners this year, so there was plenty to get excited for. This is our 48 Hours in Seattle, Washington!

48 Hours in Seattle, Washington

Seattle Mariners Baseball Game

You’ve seen this in my previous roundups already but the Seattle Mariners is our hometown team and one of our favorite things to do when we’re in the area! This year, we were kicking off the 2023 season as Season Ticket Members which is wild to say. We saw Jared’s name on the wall near right field and ran into the Mariners Moose and grabbed a quick selfie. It was quite the way to kick off the season and we had so much fun!

Breakfast From O8 Bagel Shop

That night, we stayed at The Hyatt @ Olive 8, one of my favorite hotels in the city. They have a DELISH bagel shop in the front lobby (as well as a fab seafood restaurant and 24/7 pizza vending machine!) and I was so excited to enjoy more of their creations. I had stayed there the month prior with my friend Kayla and I couldn’t wait to go back. The O8 uses local favorite Blazing Bagels as their supplier, which my friend/client had just mentioned to me as one of his favorite spots. Jared and I both enjoyed our sandwiches and will definitely be back!

A Walk Through the Olympic Sculpture Park

We did a quick Google search to find a decent but leisurely walk nearby and landed on the Elliott Bay Trail at the Olympic Sculpture Park / Myrtle Edwards Park where you can walk for as long as you desire, following the winding paths down to the rocky beach and enjoying the various sculptures along the way. There’s a parking garage nearby - very convenient!

Treats at Fuel Coffee

On our second day, we moved onto the Wallingford neighborhood and walked to discover the cutest spots like Fuel Coffee where we enjoyed yummy seasonal iced coffees and I purchased some cute rainbow coffee/beer glasses and a book to take home. This would be a great spot to get some work done!

Dinner at Dumpling The Noodle

Our new must-visit spot in Wallingford is Dumpling The Noodle. I saw this spot in a Reel from a local influencer that I follow on Instagram and she sent us her best recs for dishes. If you stop by, you absolutely must try their Lamen! We fell in love. I tried the Chili Garlic Tofu Lamen (which is vegan) and it was wonderful.

I’m already looking forward to my next 48 hours in Seattle and hope this gave you some inspo for your next weekend trip! :)
